Join us for AstroDay on November 2nd from 10 am to 3 pm, for an exciting day of astronomy, robotics, and natural sciences. Meet scientists and educators, explore Hawai`i's new and amazing contributions to astronomy, and enjoy engaging science demonstrations and activities by the Maunakea Observatories and other organizations.
Free giveaways while supplies last and the UH Institute for Astronomy will have a solar telescope on site to safely view the surface of the sun. Special grand prizes will include two beginner-level telescopes and two NASA-themed skateboards. No purchase is necessary, but you do need to be present to win. Prize drawing times are 11:30 am and 1:30 pm.

AstroDay festivities will take place throughout Kona Commons, right in front of the stores.
